We will achieve this by only employing fully qualified personnel and to continue training them in the latest crime fighting techniques. We will make use of the latest security technology and provide it to our client’s cost effectively as possible. We as owners will endeavor to always remain in touch with our clients’ needs.

CPS Security

Alarm Monitoring & Armed Response

CPS Security was the brainchild of Andries Meiring and his son, Andre, after a break-in at their family home in 2008. Andries had been a train driver for Spoornet for 20 years before joining a private company, where he worked for 12 years. On the evening in question, his wife, Gerda, phoned him at work to say someone was attempting to break into their home in Riebeeckstad.

CPS Security is now a fully-fledged security services provider and we started to provide armed response and alarm monitoring to the community. The area we cover is Riebeeckstad, Welkom and Odendaalsrus. We have a unique approach to preventing rather than reacting to crime, with personnel and owners patrolling nightly to ensure that the area is secure and safe. Our offices are always manned with armed personnel to ensure the integrity of the critical systems needed to run an operation of this sort.

Our offices are under 24/7 CCTV monitoring and intruder detection, and we are equipped to handle load shedding to ensure zero downtime of our systems. At CPS Security we offer armed response using reaction vehicles fitted with first aid kits and fire extinguishers. We also offer alarm monitoring, using the latest monitoring, using the latest monitoring systems in a 24/7 manned control room. We offer alarm and CCTV sales, where we specialize in the IDS systems, one of the most affordable systems, locally manufactured in South Africa. Our systems are readily available and distribution points are available nationwide.

We have now branched into guarding services, which started off with one company, but has now expanded to various companies in the Goldfields region. Our latest venture is in the installations of gate motors and electric fences, including the services thereof. We employ only PSIRA registered personnel, ensuring the firearm competency of all employees. This is essential for ensuring the safety of our clients and the households which we serve.
